Forza Horizon 3 looks like a whole lot of fun, but I reckon it might need a few more stuff to really rock.
Rally
cars
, not just trucks.
Sure, they’re
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
, but it would also be fun to see actual WRC cars in this mix, too. They’re smaller, for one, so they can fit in places the big boys wouldn’t, can be had in fleets, and is a little easier to be made anonymous to regular traffic, so should a Gallardo suddenly pull up at an intersection, you can really surprise the guy driving the supercar.
More drop-top cars
. Hey, this is Horizon, after all. We can be allowed to get carried away. Wind through your hair, sky in full view, extra danger of a flying prerunner falling directly to your cabin. No, not that last bit. There’s many of them past and present, in different shapes and sizes and tiers, and it would be cool to see some of them in the game, complete with convertible mechanisms and fussing about trying to get the top up or down if the top are to be done up manually. It would also make for good challenges, like the usual convertible drag race.
Outboard engine add-ons . I’d like to slap one or two on a Raptor and go car-boating (or is it truck-boating?).
Customizable drivers . One small knock about Horizon 2 is that the driver is exactly the same: a white bro-type bloke. Kinda strange, considering there are other people who aren’t white bros that are car people, too, and still be the kind of people that would also attend a festival like Horizon. It’s time we be able to make our own characters, either to our likenesses (or as close to one) or as other people.

Rally cars are in the game already.
There are already loads of convertibles but like you said no converting mechanism. I really hope they add it as it was one of the better things about TDU2.
Amphibious cars? Amphibious cars!
I have a hunch that generic Forza dude is here to stay that said you could choose a female avatar for FM6 so maybe?
Anyway BRING BACK CLASS RACING! and manufacturer engine swaps, crate engines are boring.

Horizon is fairly maxed on assets when it comes to the cars and having boat cars in just a car game could be too taking for the engine. Also while I think it would be cool and should be able to have a custom driver it’s a lot less taxing on the engine again to have one driver. It’s a game where the cars are the focus so having driver customization would take assets away from the car and other places.

Hopefully they don’t limit the PC version to console maximums. That will be asking to fail. I don’t think drop-tops would be that difficult, and multiple driver skins would be a simple texture option.

I Forza hard, but we all can hope.

The main thing I want added to the Forza series is the ability to type out my decals instead of adding letters one by one.
That and more NFS-like customization options. I get that this series has its roots in racing simulation, but I don’t see why I can’t change my lights or add a widebody kit or something.

but those take assets that could be used to improve else where. I mean form a technical stand point you have to be able to make sure it will run smoothly. Also droptops have the inherent thing of possibly flipping

they should do this in GTAV actually... lol
